Message from Father Christmas

Ho ho ho! I hope all of you good boys and girls have enjoyed your special personalised video from Father Christmas.

I now only have a few days left to get ready for my big night on Christmas Eve and unfortunately, we are now so busy that my elves and I have no time to make any more videos.

I've returned my borrowed hot air balloon to those lovely people at Virgin Balloon Flights and have been getting my sleigh all ready and loaded with presents ready for Christmas Eve.

Thank you all very much for all the requests and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

P.S. Make sure you go to bed nice and early once you've got my mince pie and drink ready on Christmas Eve. I always know if you're awake and only leave presents for good boys and girls who are fast asleep when I get to their house!

We all need plenty of rest before making a big journey and magical or not, Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer that pull Father Christmas’s sleigh are no

exception.

In fact, flying around the entire world in just one night needs a full year of rest and relaxation to be ready.

So when Father Christmas needed to get a bird’s eye view of the UK to plan his route across the country on Christmas Eve, Virgin Balloon Flights was there to help.

He borrowed one of our lovely red hot air balloons – which matched his equally lovely red suit perfectly – and he took to the skies on a chilly morning.

Up, Up and Away

With his map in tow, Father Christmas drifted over the houses of all the good girls and boys, making sure they were on his list for Christmas Eve and checking it twice to be sure.

“With more good girls and boys than ever before, I knew I would have my work cut out this Christmas Eve to deliver all the presents,” he said.

“I thought it was a good idea to fly over everywhere I would be visiting before the night itself, both to check that I had all the right houses on my list and to make sure I could take the fastest route to make sure I could deliver all those Christmas gifts in the one night.”
