Here at Virgin Balloon Flights, we love to do our bit and raise money for charity, and as soon as we saw the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Wear It Red’ campaign, we thought it was only right to get involved! We weren’t happy with just Wearing it Red, though; we wanted to go that little bit further. That little bit turned into a 260-mile cycle challenge where collectively, with the help of four spin bikes, the team would attempt to cycle 260 miles (the distance from London to Paris!).
So, we donned our Red t-shirts (luckily, red is our favourite colour!) and took to the saddles. Although the challenge seemed tough and almost impossible at first, the team smashed the target with hours to spare!
The ‘Wear It. Beat It.’ campaign was run by the British Heart Foundation to raise awareness and well-needed funds to help people living with cardiovascular disease. We have so far raised over £500, but you still have time to donate!

We would like to thank MSF Fitness in Telford for kindly allowing us to use their bikes, Angel Springs for keeping us hydrated with our water, and Virgin Pure for providing us with possibly the funkiest water bottles out there!
Well done, team VBF!
