About
One of our back-up launch sites, your flight may be moved to Crowborough on the day.
A hot air balloon flight from Crowborough Rugby Club will give you a unique perspective of this rural East Sussex market town and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
As it sits near the Sussex-Kent border, close to Royal Tunbridge Wells, you'll also see both counties sweeping away from you in different directions on your unforgettable balloon ride.
Crowborough was home to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - creator of Sherlock Holmes - but with it being within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you don't have to be a detective to realise how spectacular your balloon flight will be.
The town is also near to Ashdown Forest made famous as Pooh Bear's home in A. A. Milne's classic children's books and you'll experience the thrill of flying over ancient woodland in many directions.
With it's proximity to the coast, you're likely to see the sea sparkling in the distance, meanwhile the sprawling sight of London could be visible to the north.
We're proud to fly from Crowborough Rugby Club, a welcoming community club with over 1,000 members and a successful first team currently in the London South East 3.
