Our back-up site for Northampton's Lamport Hall, glorious countryside views stretching for miles in every direction await as you take to the skies in our iconic big red balloon.

Launching from Hanging Houghton to the north of Northampton, enjoy a 360 panorama of some of the UK’s most beautiful landscapes.

Other spectacular sights to look out for include the beautiful Pitsford Water and the many pretty rural villages scattered among the patchwork fields.

Or the wind might take you further south, towards Northampton town itself or the stunning Delapré Abbey.

You might even spot a steam train puffing along the tracks of the Northampton and Lamport Railway.

Whichever way the wind takes you, the memories from your Northampton hot air balloon adventure will last a lifetime.

Directions

From the A14 junction 2, or junction 15 of the M1, Hanging Houghton is on the A508 between Lamport and Brixworth.

Turn onto Manor Road and drive through the village, then turn left down the hill, continuing on Manor Road. DO NOT go into Manor Farm or Manor Walk please – they are private property.

Manor Road continues downhill for a quarter of a mile, over the Midshires Way and a small bridge, with the meeting point 100 metres after the bridge on the right. Please park considerately on the gravel area by the farm buildings, where your crew will be setting up the balloon nearby.
