Raglan Hot Air Balloon Ride

Fun & Interesting Facts

Raglan Castle is one of the last ‘true castles’ built in Wales and is unlike any other. It was built to be attractive rather than for true battle, with a polygonal, six-sided gatehouse and towers rather than the usual round or square.

About

Find the beautiful Vale Of Usk at your feet when you go up, up and away on our South Wales hot air balloon ride.

Launching from the pretty village of Llanarth, near Raglan and not that far from Cardiff, enjoy spectacular scenery stretching out in every direction.

The experience of a lifetime awaits when you hop on board our big red balloon for an airborne adventure you will never forget.

Keep an eye out for the magnificent Raglan Castle or the unusual Hen Gwrt moated site.

To the north west lie both the dramatic Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park, now the world’s 5th International Dark Sky Reserve.

The right wind could even take your hot air balloon towards Newport or Cardiff to the south west.

A South Wales hot air balloon ride offers stunning Welsh landscapes whichever way the wind takes you.
