No, we will not be at the Strathaven Balloon Festival. However, we are taking part in many hot air balloon festivals this year.

🗓️ When is the Strathaven Balloon Festival?
Dates for the 2025 Strathaven Balloon Festival have not yet been released.
There will be a park & ride option available to gain entrance to the festival site. If you decide to park in any of the local streets, please check for parking restrictions. Please do not park on pavements or in front of entrances to homes or businesses. Ensure that if you park opposite another vehicle, that there is plenty of clearance left for emergency vehicles to pass.
Passengers need to be aware that the standard 40 to 60 minute flight time may not necessarily be the rule of thumb at this event, due to its vicinity to Glasgow and the hills. As this is a unique event, there is no back up launch site. However we will do our best for passengers to get the best experience possible.
Passengers also need to be aware that larger balloons are not able to fly in the same conditions as smaller balloons. The main factor being wind speeds and gusty conditions. With large crowds surrounding the launch field it can be deemed too high risk to try to inflate and take off in a balloon four times bigger than others when conditions are unstable. Smaller balloons however, may attempt to fly at the pilot's discretion.
