How long is the experience?

Flights last about one hour, but the whole experience, including check-in and packing up, takes about 4 hours.

When do you fly?

Our hot air balloon season runs from March to October, and flight vouchers are valid for 18 months.

Can I buy this as a gift?

Absolutely! Our gift vouchers are available as premium-quality printed vouchers or can be delivered instantly by email. Let Mum choose her own date and flight time. You can send the vouchers directly to her or why not slip them in a gift hamper for an extra special surprise this Mother's Day.

What happens if the weather isn’t great?

If weather conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll reschedule your flight free of charge and extend your voucher by 6 months.

What if Mum doesn’t want to fly?

Not every gift is the perfect fit, so every voucher comes with a 90-day exchange window (as long as it hasn’t been activated). Mum can swap her voucher for a Virgin Experience Days gift card of equal value to use on another experience.
