Peter began flying balloons in Australia in 1999, working on a huge promotional frog balloon and since then has flown all over Europe and the UK. He spent a winter in Burma flying over an area of 2,000 Buddhist temples with perfect blue skies every day.

"I have flown all over the Midlands in the UK and I love everything about my job. I'm a real enthusiast about ballooning and love the fact that every flight is different and we get to see the best times of the day from the best places," he says.

Peter was an International rugby player representing Holland in the 2nd Division 6 Nations which took him to World Cup qualifying matches in Georgia and South Korea. Now retired, he loves to play golf and keeps fit by walking Daisy the dog.
